Note di degustazione
Big, fat and alcoholic with something slightly unclean on the nose at this stage. Very heavy and astringent. Phenolic city at the moment. Needs lots of time. (JR)

The 2000 Corton-Charlemagne has a creamy, talcum powder, and mocha-scented nose. Medium to full-bodied, supple, and velvety-textured, it is an intensely flavored offering. It bastes the palate with creamed fruit and mineral flavors. Drink this harmonious, lush wine between 2004 and 2012. Importer: Kobrand, Inc., New York, NY; tel. (212) 490-9300
Intense green apple and mineral aromas jump from the glass to reveal silky, subtle, mineral-laden flavors and a certain discreet power. One can sense the reserve as there is plenty of underlying material that is only hinted at. Extremely stylish, precise and long. I very much like this. Allen Meadows, Burghound, Jul01,2002.

Informazioni sul produttore

Louis Jadot is arguably the most consistent négociant house in Burgundy. It has managed to straddle both the entry-level and fine wine market, while retaining respect in both.
