The 2022 Pinot Noir West Block has pure, continually unfurling aromas of wild berry jam, bergamot, aniseed and black tea leaves. The light-bodied palate reveals expansive, layered flavors that segue from flowers to spice. It has a luxuriously silky texture, mouthwatering acidity and a long, detailed finish. It opens dramatically with air and will reward 2-3+ years in the cellar or a couple of hours in a decanter.

Medium-bodied, it’s focused and linear, with mouthwatering freshness and outstanding length. A stunning and long wine on the palate that keeps going, it has incense on the long finish and great chalky mineral texture. Give this one a few years and drink 2027-2040.
