The 2020 Zinfandel Whitney Tennessee is a pretty powerful wine in this vintage. Swaths of tannin wrap around a core of bright red/purplish fruit. Usually a more delicate wine, the Whitney Tennessee is quite intense in 2020. I would give it a few years to unwind. Rose petal, mint, white pepper and chalk add an attractive upper register to this taut Zinfandel-based field blend.
