A rare Grenache sighting in Napa, Outpost's 2019 Grenache—aged in older oak—boasts gorgeous aromas of roses and strawberries alongside hints of berry tea and lilacs. Full-bodied yet silky and almost ethereal on the palate, this is a pretty, complex effort that also shows excellent persistence on the finish. Drink it over the rest of the current decade.

The 2019 Grenache is a classic expression of this cuvée (which is always singular) and offers a translucent ruby color as well as a wonderful perfume of kirsch, blackberries, white pepper, sandalwood, and spice. Medium-bodied and elegant on the palate, this complex, nuanced Grenache will drink well for over a decade.
