The 2020 The Classic lifts from the glass with a seductive blend of mentholated black currant, rubbed sage and gravel dust. This is elegant and supple on the palate, engulfing the senses with its ripe red and black fruits, while a core of minerality adds a crunchy sensation toward the close. The 2020 finishes classically structured and dry, with fine-grained tannins that gently tug at the cheeks as nuances of salted licorice slowly fade. The Classic is a blend of 42% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Cabernet Franc and 16% Petit Verdot, matured for 28 months in a combination of half new and half neutral oak.
