Note di degustazione
Revealing a highly-expressive floral nose, the stunning Puligny-Montrachet La Truffiere offers wonderful cake icing, honeysuckle, poached pear and toasted mineral flavors in its classy and refined character. In addition, this wine has extraordinary depth and richness to its highly-defined, feminine, supremely elegant, and full body. It will be at its best between 2001 and 2010. This premier crus is a stunning wine. 1996 was a spectacular year for Colin's wines. The bright, bracing, focus-providing acidity that characterizes the vintage married magnificently well with his trademark plump, ripe, rich, and concentrated wine style. Reticent but riper aromas of peach, acacia flower and nut oil; less herbal and citric than the wines from Chassagne. The most intense of these '96s to this point: juicy, sharply defined pineapple and lemon flavors offer wonderful sweetness and considerable power. Finishes with terrific grip and real palate-staining length.
