Note di degustazione
The 2021 Cornas Chaillot outperforms the rustic 2020 I tasted on the same occasion. Ripe black fruit, graphite, cedar, stemmy facets and peppery nuances are all amplified in the glass. Intense and expressive, the medium- to full-bodied 2021 is a gorgeous Chaillot, packing a stunning energetic lift on the mid-palate. Checking out with timeless elegance on the refined finish, the 2021 is a showstopper.

Not yet bottled, the 2021 Cornas Chaillot is a beautiful, wildly perfumed, floral Cornas offering medium-bodied richness, lots of red, blue, and black fruits, some subtle lavender and sappy flower notes, fine tannins, and outstanding length. It certainly makes the most of the vintage and is well worth your time.
Informazioni sul produttore

Allemand’s wines set the benchmark for Cornas: expressive Syrahs crafted with uncompromising traditional methods and released in tiny quantities. From the 1980s, he revived abandoned vineyards on Cornas’s steep granite slopes, building his domaine without inherited land or financial support.
