Note di degustazione
Champ Canet has very little topsoil with lots of flint, producing naturally small berries and concentrated, mineral-driven wines. The 2023 is full of honey and ripe peach but with lime and chalky minerality too – more linear versus the Chalumaux. It’s lively and driven with a pure, flinty finish.

Outstanding - This is also quite floral in character with a more layered nose of mineral reduction, orange peel, lemon-grass, fennel and a mix of white-fleshed fruit. There is better volume still to the richer and more concentrated medium weight flavors that possess a more refined mouthfeel that carries over to the sneaky long, balanced and more complex finale. Lovely and this too is a wine that could be enjoyed young or aged successfully for 5 to 8 years. Drink 2029+
