Note di degustazione
The domaine's regular 2020 Fixin Village has turned out nicely, exhibiting aromas of sweet cherries and berries complemented by hints of smoke and forest floor. Medium to full-bodied, textural and enveloping, with tangy acids and sweet tannins, it's a strong introduction to the domaine and the commune.

Alluvial loam; 0.5 hectares, vines planted 2009–2015. Fermentation in oak barrels, 12-month élevage. Citrus, apple, pear. There’s some weight to the fruit, but it seems a bit simple to me at the moment. (MH)
The 2020 Fixin Village is complex on the nose considering this is a Village Cru: redcurrant, briary, sous-bois and light truffle scents. This is very fragrant. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy red fruit, a fine bead of acidity, taut and fresh with a dab of sour cherry on the finish. Delightful.
