2021 Dearden Wines Pinot Noir Sleeping Giant

From the owner's estate vineyard in Carneros, the 2021 Pinot Noir Dearden Vineyard XV boasts exhilarating aromas of roses, peppery spice, honeysuckle, cherries and raspberries. In the mouth, the wine is medium to full-bodied, round, seductive and silky up front, but it could use a bit more finesse and elegance on the finish, which today comes across as a bit chunky. Maybe that will develop with a few more years in the cellar.
