Good full red. Good high-pitched minerality lifts aromas of black raspberry and candied cherry. Quite different from the village wines at this address, showing a silky texture but considerably more inner-mouth tension and less in the way of easy sweetness. This sappy, vibrant wine finishes firm and long, with the structure to age. In fact, I would not be at all surprised if this closed down in the very near future.

Very rich nose – lots of brûlée and not too much oak. Racy and polished. First vintage with only the upper part in it. Long and rather sophisticated. (JR)
(now made from the top part of the holding) Good ruby-red. Distinctly chalky aromas of blackberry, violet, licorice and flinty minerality. Dense, juicy and youthfully imploded, with lovely sweetness and calcaire lift to its redcurrant and bitter chocolate flavors. Rather powerful wine with a very long, rising finish. Showing well today.
Dark crimson. Very juicy indeed on the nose with real freshness. Round and supple on the palate. Lovely and silky – so much fruit you could drink this quite young! Very pretty and winning. Yet is expresses Vosne too. 60% new oak. Just hope it’s not too expensive! (JR)
