Cask s ample. More softly spoken than their Nuits-St-Georges cuvées, although there is just as much tannic grip that really dominates the palate. For me, this is rather gangly at present, and perhaps doesn't have enough fruit clarity. But it certainly isn't ready, and so may well improve with sufficient maturation. (RH)

This Gevrey-Chambertin property was founded in 1982 but the vines were leased to other producers. As of 2021, that’s all changed, with Domaine Hudelot-Noëllat’s Charles van Canneyt and his wife Anne-Sophie having purchased the property. This is undoubtedly an address to watch.
