Note di degustazione
Medium red-ruby. Cool aromas of cassis, black plum and minerals, lifted by a peppery nuance. Supple, minerally and sweet, though still youthfully closed; slightly medicinal fruit is not yet expressing itself. Finishes with nicely ripe tannins and very good length.

The 2001 Echezeaux is medium to dark ruby-colored, offers appealing red fruit aromas, and sports a medium-bodied character. Tight and foursquare, it offers excellent depth of fruit, and good purity to its expressive red cherry flavors. It should be consumed over the next 6 years. Medium ruby, a bit less saturated than the Latricieres. Discreet aromas of black cherry, licorice and minerals. Nicely dense for Echezeaux, with sweet flavors of dark berries and spices. Showing lovely texture from the outset. Finishes very long and perfumed, with a note of bitter chocolate.
