100% whole-cluster fermented with ambient yeasts. Aged in neutral barrels for 36 months. Natural malolactic conversion. Bottled unfined and unfiltered. 164 cases produced Very dark garnet. Smells of dried flowers and black cherries. Leather and cedar flavours mix with black-cherry and liquorice flavours as powdery tannins coat the mouth and bright acidity keeps things juicy and fresh. Notes of citrus peel and dried herbs linger in the finish as fresher notes of chopped herbs meld with the dark fruit for a lovely seamless whole. Beautiful. (AY)
