Quite deep straw and a funky nose. No doubt that this is a very natural wine with lots of body.  Masses of acidity nut for the moment if anything more fun to drink than the Gold Quadrat Spatlese trocken which is almost uncomfortably tart at this stage in its life. Juicy bone dry grapefruit juice.  Wait even with this one! A bit hard on the finish. (JR)
