Note di degustazione
Pale greenish gold. Very direct, refreshing and somehow 'mineral' on the nose. Super juicy and succulent. Massive acidity and more than a hint of bone dry lime juice. Very racy and reverberant on the finish. Very youthful but jam packed with flavour despite its low alcohol. This should take on ever more layers. See my tasting note on the 2007 tasted on the same day. (JR)

Lemon sherbet, tropical hints – almost more like Pinot Gris than Semillon. Full texture – waxy and thick. Persistent fruit on the finish, revealing the ageability. (RH)
Inspired by the first visit of a reigning monarch to Australia in 1954. After de-stemming, the juice was pressed off the skins to stainless steel tank. Juice was cold settled before being racked off, warmed and inoculated for ferment, which took place at cold temperatures to retain the delicate flavours. More expressive than the 2013 Lovedale on the nose. Limey and stones. Limey, tight and dry on the palate. Lightweight but with a very fine pear grain. Very, very crisp. (JH)
