Note di degustazione
Full bottle 1,294 g. Transparent, shaded rust colour. Fully mature and definitely sweet with only a vestige of ripe tannin very much in the background. Sweet start and a dry finish but still with real persistence. A vino da meditazione, it has held up well. (JR)

Full bottle just 1,290 g. Transparent shaded ruby to rust. Heady, super-evolved, meaty/bloody nose. There's a little tannin still and some freshness. Clean (unlike the bottle opened at Chez Bruce recently), and less rich and sweet than another bottle opened two nights ago. Quite a dry finish. Long and intriguing – classic St-Émilion rather than the more exotic wines made since by François Mitjavile at this property. (JR)
Pale ruby. Intense, rich, sweet nose. Powerful and rather floral with freshness on the finish. Definitely ready to drink. (JR)
Masses of bottle deposit on the inside of this particular bottle and lots of fine sediment too. Dark blackish ruby. Mature rim. Balsam notes on the nose – seriously appetising – and then notable acidity on the palate. Not too much but this is still fresh with tannins largely dissolved. Heady and rather sumptuous. This is a good time to be drinking this wine! Very savoury and tasty. Rich but not sweet. Complete. (JR)
