Bright medium red with a palish rim. Aromas of redcurrant, underbrush and gunpowder, plus a hint of Tellicherry pepper. Supple and juicy, with strawberry and spice flavors framed by firm acids. On the lean side but firmly built, aromatic and lively. Finishes with good peppery cut.

There is a bit of wood spice here that highlights the attractive and notably expressive crushed black fruit aromas that display only a hint of crushed herbs and blend seamlessly into richer, fuller and finer flavors underpinned by more sophisticated tannins on the focused, pure and intense finale. This is a lovely effort with excellent balance.
Bright medium red. Black cherry and spices on the nose. Sweet, ripe and fruit-driven, also in a rather gentle style. Suave cherry and raspberry flavors complicated by minerals and spices. Finishes with dusty but rather soft tannins, sneaky length and lingering perfume.
