Note di degustazione
The 2008 Bienvenue-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru has a lively saline, almost seaweed scented bouquet that is precise and intense. The palate is fresh and lively, perhaps just missing a little weight, but there is a sense of elegance and refinement here, traces of lime and quince enlivening the persistent finish. Excellent. Tasted at La Paulée in Beaune.

(just fined) Full, bright yellow. Reticent nose hints at a subtle spicy quality. Rich, sweet and layered, with flavors of yellow fruits, flowers and spices. Not a minerally style, but finishing firmness leavens the impression of sucrosite Today I find the 2009 denser and lighter on its feet.
