Note di degustazione
Niellon's 2015 Chassagne Montrachet Village Blanc offers up an attractive nose of yellow stone fruit and nutty new oak, as well as an exotic top note of petrol. On the palate, the wine is rich and full-bodied, with a deep core of fruit, lavish textural gloss and ripe acids. This is a characterful, flavorful rendition of the vintage, firmly stamped by the domaine style.

Lifted, a bit funky on the nose but with bags of character. Some hint of decayed honey on the end – very much artisan! Cleaned itself up in the glass. Lively and dense. Real grip. Well worth £2 more a bottle than the Dom Jean Pascal version!! Rather dangerous wine but fun. Long. (JR)
(12.6% potential alcohol chaptalized to 13.1%): Bright yellow. Very ripe aromas of stone fruits, honey and spices. Fat, sweet and rich but distinctly edgy, with lemony acidity and a touch of bitterness giving the wine a youthfully disjointed character.
