2019 Bandol Speciale Cabassaou

Showing hints of cedar and vanilla, the 2019 Bandol Cuvee Cabassaou delivers additional notes of cola and plum. Almost entirely Mourvèdre, it's full-bodied, dark and a bit brooding. Less expressive than the other cuvées at this stage of its evolution, it's still an impressive wine, richly concentrated and textured, with a long, dusty finish that suggests ample longevity.
