Vivid ruby. A complex, highly perfumed bouquet evokes fresh red and dark berries, along with suggestions of star anise, smoky minerals and potpourri. Silky and expansive on the palate, offering intense, deeply pitched black raspberry and violet pastille flavors and an undercurrent of zesty minerality. Fresh, seamless and sweet on the incisive finish, which lingers with excellent persistence and a sexy floral nuance.

Stains the palate with vibrant red berry and floral flavors, which are given spine by a strong mineral element. Powerful but graceful as well, finishing on an emphatic mineral note, with impressive length. A gold capsule is always used to identify this wine.
