VDP Grosse Lage. Gossamer threads of orchard fruit and smoky slate. Spring flowers and chamomile weave together an enchanting nose that can only be Saar. The playful palate dances with notes of baking apples, orange zest and a cool, compelling minerality. Long, layered finish. Bottled jubilance and nearly impossible not to break into song. (PS)
