2022 Gigondas L'Argnee

Cask sample. Wonderful nose – such purity, with the toasty oak also showing. The palate is powerful, dense, layered and plush. The tannins are very fine-grained but robust – meaty notes as well as ripe dark fruits. The oak is well integrated on the palate though – smooth and rounded. Great concentration of fruit. Very smart.
