2020 Cuvee Dame Honneur du Ch Lagrezette

Full bottle 1,336 g. Blackberry, blueberries and a thicket-full of tannins. This Lagrezette cuvée always seems to be a bit pugnacious and bolshy compared with the others. It was a little less bellicose after it has been open for a couple of days, so it's most likely a Cahors Malbec that needs time (and chunky food). Ink-dust minerality. Stony heart. Robust and muscular but not rustic. (TC)
