Malted cherry-pie nose. Parenthetical tannins, the curvy kind. More cooked fruit than most of these 2020 GG Lembergers. Picked late? Denser and the tannins have a slight toughness. Biltong wine. It tastes of more winemaking than some of its peers. Almost New World Cabernet Sauvignon-like. (TC)
