2021 Haven Pinot Noir

Full screwcapped bottle 1,316 g. From the most sheltered 0.6-ha block of the Kooyong 1996 vineyard where vines are protected from strong winds. Very pale ruby. Decidedly earthy nose. Juicy red-fruit impression on the palate with a touch of salinity. Fully mature although there's a little bite on the end. Very pleasing for current drinking with a strong personality even if not a Burgundian one. Very clean, fresh finish. (JR)
