This is one of the quartet of special single malts released in honour of the House of Suntory’s 100th anniversary. Matured in a variety of casks for a minimum of 12 years before being filled into commemorative Yamazaki bottles which pay homage to the birthplace of Japanese whisky.

Yamazaki
Yamazaki is arguably the most well-known Japanese whisky. It was the first distillery built in Japan, and has produced some of the finest whiskies in the world. Shinjiro Torii founded the Yamazaki distillery near Kyoto in 1923.
