The 2019 Ried Loibenberg Loibner Riesling Smaragd is deep, intense and ripe on the nose but also pure and fresh, with notes of crushed stones and tropical yellow stone fruits. Dense and intense on the substantial palate, this is a full-bodied, concentrated and sustainably structured Loibenberg with great intensity, grip and mineral tension. The finish is very long, intense and quite powerful and still dominated by its ripe fruit. However, the 2019 Loibenberg Riesling will be a giant in about 10 years. Tasted at the domaine in June 2021.
