Williamsbirne 2013 is a stunning pear eau de vie from the family-run Austrian producer, Rochelt. True to the family’s ethos, the yellow and red Williams pears used to make this eau de vie are locally sourced from Styria in southeast Austria. The pears are harvested at full ripeness before being double-distilled and aged for at least three years.

Rochelt is a prestigious Austrian producer of high-quality eaux de vie made in the Tyrolean tradition. The distillery started life in brothers Günter and Dietmar Rochelt’s cousin’s garage when they began experimenting with wild rowanberry distillation in the 1970s.
