2020 Marienburg Riesling Kabinett

AP number 04 21. Clemens Busch does not make one's life easy with two identically named Kabinetts with just one different digit in the AP number , but this one replaces the mineral element of the herb garden with a slightly fruitier tangent, raising expectations of something slightly sweeter on the palate. There’s a change of emphasis on the palate too, citrus fruit from sweet lemon to grapefruit, well-complemented by a subtle spicy notion. Riveting acidity stimulates the taste buds on a long finish.
