NV Hampden Estate 8 Years Old

The exquisite and deceptively complex spice-fruit balance is immediately apparent on the nose, where guava, papaya and ripe banana sit harmoniously with clove, toasted cinnamon and even a leathery note. The palate continues the narrative, with a creamy vanilla pulling the texture together along with the addition of some orchard fruit. Intriguingly, while the finish never feels incongruent, there’s the addition of a herbaceous, almost minty element along with banana-on-toast and a nutmeg quality.
