Note di degustazione
Lavender, lemon peel and incense practically assault the nose. The glossy palate offers a slightly Chablis-like combination of lemon pip piquancy and chalk suffusion, along with sappy, just-ripe Bartlett pear. The overall impression here is denser, marginally less animated and without the striking clarity and salinity of the corresponding 2020. That being said, the finish is formidably gripping in its evocations of pip piquancy, herbal pungency and chalk. If lucky enough to own bottles, I’d give them a bit more time – or, if desired, a lot more.

Keller's 2019 Kirchspiel Riesling GG opens puristic and chalky on the nose with lemon oil and woodruff aromas. Juicy, round and rich on the palate, with smooth suppleness, fine tannins and a stimulating kick on the finish, this is a less puristic but juicy and intense Riesling of great class.
A pungent herbaceous nose settles down after a bit of airing into an animating green-herbal fragrance, complemented by earthy and chalky mineral notions. On the palate there are some fine nuances of citrus fruit, but the main flavour revolves around a refined combination of fresh green mint and pronounced salty minerality, supported by vibrant acidity and a delicate sprinkling of spice. Still waters run deep! Warm and ripe, yet such delicate mirabelle aromas with a ton of herbal overtones. Concentrated and well structured, but also with lovely juiciness. Then comes the long, vibrant and energetic finish that\'s full of spice. Drink or hold.
