Note di degustazione
A striking, penetratingly pungent nose features bruised apple skin, lemon zest, chalk dust, lavender and roux . The palate is full and firm but polished, with piquant, tart impingements of apple skin and lemon peel surprisingly subdued given the intensity that was projected on the nose. The finish, though, is not just grippingly piquant but electrically tongue-tingling, brightly lemony and adamantly chalky.

From an east-facing cru and picked at the very end of the harvest (on September 27th), the 2018 Kirchspiel Riesling GG is fascinating, precise, fine and piquant on the palate, with great intensity and finesse and a long and delicate finish. Tasted at the domaine in March 2020.
An enticing fragrance brings together floral and herbal aromas of a summer meadow with ripe orchard fruit, creating an aura of summer meadow. The flavour is equally diverse, opening with sweet juicy yellow plums on a viscous palate, but adding tactile mineral notes and a piquant spicy notion to the mid palate. There is also sufficient acidity to stimulate the taste buds. (MS)
