2018 Garage de Papa

Full bottle 1,448 g. Made in the same way as the 2020 and 2019. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. Made by Ido Lewinsohn, Master of Wine. Pale crimson. Doesn't look older than the 2020 or the 2019! Sweet and peppery (positively rotundone!) nose with some persistence. A nice antidote to the copies of Napa Cabs that constitute so many Israeli reds! There is real freshness here too. And a very saline finish. Yes, it's Syrah! Good vitality. (JR)
