2005 Steinberger Spatlese

The international jury may still be out on the merits of kerosene, this one exhibits just a modicum, adding an element of complexity to the fruit. The peach aromas of the younger wines have given way to juicy pear with a touch of peel. Seems just a little drier than its younger siblings, giving it an air of sophistication. Quite superb! (MS)
