1937 Johannisberger Kochsberg TBA

Dark glowing tawny, with a very green pale broad rim. Macerated raisins in Earl Grey tea nose. Very sweet start and wonderful delicacy with masses of super fresh acidity and then some marked astringency on the finish. Certainly ready to drink but no hurry to finish. Like medicine! Maybe a bit sweet as an aperitif but very revitalising for someone who is suffering from a lack of sleep. (JR)
