Very powerful wines produced. The Honivogl plot is located at the bottom part of the south-facing Singerriedel vineyard and has a perfect view of the Danube River. Grapes for this wine were picked on 21 October and both 17 and 18 November. Botrytised and therefore probably needs age. Rich and indeed honeyed. Smooth and perhaps a little soft and sweet tasting. Not that appetising though clearly very well made. Some lychee fruit. Easy to drink young. (JR)
