Great depth of intense minerals with hazelnuts and a hint of lime. More pungent and explosive than the Wittmann Kirchspiel. Round yet extremely concentrated and dense. Perhaps more obviously alcoholic although not fatally so. (JR)

Mineral lift on the nose – positively airborne! May blossom notes. But definitely something mineral underpinning this wine. More ethereal than the Hubacker but with a wonderfully broad grip on the palate – something angelic about this wine’s palate impact. Firm but fair. Very persistent indeed. (JR)
