Katherina Prüm suggests we should have started with this before the 1990. Classic cool vintage, lots of acid. Late picked. Not a lot bottled. Pale green gold. Much greener than the 1990 vintage from this tasting.Very slightly frail nose with TDN (kerosene-like aroma of older Riesling). Masses of acid and very unobvious sweetness. Drying out but great freshness of aroma. Racy and lively, medium dry aperitif style. On the way down. (JR)
